O vice-presidente eleito do Grêmio, Eduardo Magrisso, minimizou qualquer polêmica na classificação do time à final do Campeonato Gaúcho. Após a vitória nos pênaltis sobre o Juventude, o dirigente elogiou a arbitragem e afirmou que não houve irregularidade no gol de bicicleta de Gustavo Martins, marcado aos 51 minutos do segundo tempo, que levou a decisão para as penalidades.
“Não teve polêmica nenhuma. Não foi falta e foi gol. Passou aquele que foi melhor na soma dos dois jogos. Quem é gremista sabe da imortalidade e sabe que vai passar por momentos como esses. Estamos todos muito felizes, os jogadores estão felizes. Vamos para a final ganhar esse Gauchão”, disse Magrisso.
