Sofia Balbi, esposa do renomado jogador Luis Suárez, não ficou indiferente diante da devastação causada pelas enchentes no Rio Grande do Sul. Em uma emocionante publicação no Instagram, a qual já acumula milhares de interações, Sofia expressou seu apoio e solidariedade ao povo gaúcho, que enfrenta uma das piores tragédias naturais de sua história recente.

O Rio Grande do Sul não é apenas um local qualquer para Sofia e sua família. Foi um lar, uma comunidade que os acolheu por um ano enquanto Suarez jogava com a camisa do Grêmio. Agora, ao verem as imagens de destruição que assolam a capital e outras regiões, incluindo a cidade onde viveram, sentem o peso da angústia e da solidariedade.

Em suas palavra, Sofia compartilhou:

“Olá a todos, como muitos sabem, eu e minha família vivemos um ano em Porto Alegre, mais precisamente em Eldorado do Sul, cidade que está completamente destruída após a última inundação. Mais de 30 mil pessoas perderam absolutamente tudo!”

A mensagem de Sofia não se limitou apenas às palavras. Ela também agiu. Consciente da imensa tarefa de reconstrução que se impõe, suas amigas e vizinhas abriram uma conta para arrecadar fundos e auxiliar na reconstrução da cidade e na vida dessas famílias tão duramente atingidas.

Sofia encerrou sua publicação com palavras de incentivo e reconhecimento aos heróis anônimos que, incansavelmente, resgatam vidas e oferecem apoio nesse momento de adversidade.

Terá muito trabalho para ser feito! muita força e um abraço carinhoso a cada pessoa atingida. Obrigada a todos heróis que seguem resgatando vidas e ajudando.
